Super Bowl

Life is different once you have a baby! Your priorities are all rearranged. So instead of going to the big Super Bowl party and staying as late as you want if you don't have a babysitter, you make other plans. Our really good friends, Karsten and Brooke, had a baby boy, Kellen, in August after HK was born. So we decided to go over to their place to eat, watch the game, and let the babies play before putting them down. Nate rarely picks out something for HK to wear, but as we were browsing Babies R' Us one day he saw a Bears cheerleading dress and insisted that HK had it to wear because the Bears were going to the Super Bowl (the outfit was bought back in the fall). She wore her Bears outfit to church that Sunday. Needless to say, she was a hit with the Bears' fans! Go Bears! Maybe next year they can do it! During halftime, Brooke and I gave Kellen and Hallie Kate a bath together. The guys gave us a hard time, but we didn't care. Those pictures are in hiding to save for one of those days when we really want to embarrass them! Both babies went to bed at halftime. We just picked HK up to take her home and she never woke up.
