HK and Mommy loved to dance to Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree. It was a good workout for Mommy, and HK giggled throughout! She did see Santa and did well. We saw a really pretty one in the mall in Indianapolis when we visited Kent while Nate did a residency inteview.

Christmas Eve was spen
t at Mom and Dad's as usual. The
Clores, Granny, Morrises, Oldhams, Nate's parents, Plunketts, Linda Byrd, and maybe some others came over after church. Genevieve and Hallie Kate are 5 months apart in age. They had matchin
g outfits. I thin
k they could pass for twins. Uncle John is holding Genevieve
and Andrew is holding Hallie Kate.
Granny is holding a wiped out Genevieve. Grampy and Hallie Kate are wiped out after a long Christmas Eve!

Christmas morning experienced through the eyes of a child again. This is Hallie Kate's rocking turtle from Santa (a.k.a. -
G

rampy and Nana). She also got a Raggedy Ann doll with button
eyes like her Mommy use to have when she was little. She
has h
er Santa hat on and her First Christmas pajamas.
On the right is the playdome that HK got from Santa (a.k.a - Daddy and Mommy).
Hallie Kate got lost in all of the presents. Or is she the present?

Christmas morning came early and it was a long day. We were
at Mom &
Dad's house first. Then we went to Granny's house with all of the family. After dinner we
headed to Grandpa and Grandma Gray's house. Luckily all of these places were within 2 miles of one another. We went bac
k to Granny's house that evening. It made for a long day. We were celebrating with the Oldhams the day after because Noah and Heather had to get back from Florid

a. I've already told everyone that we need to spread out the celebrating next year so it can be more enjoyable for everyone! The picture on the right is at Grandpa and Grandma Gray's house. HK has on a dress that I wore for my first Christmas. She is wearing it as a shirt. She is two months older than I would've been, but I also think she's taller than I was. All in all, I think HK had a fantastic first Christmas. I can't wait until the Christmas season next year.
