A New Year - Jan 2007

After spending two weeks in Southern IL for the holidays we went back to Springfield. I actually forgot the traditional baby in streamer New Year's picture. So Mom and Dad came up MLK weekend. Nate and I got away to go hang out for game night with a bunch of our friends. With HK left with Nana and Grampy you can see what happened. She wasn't sure whether to cry because she didn't like it or see how it tasted. Nana & Grampy sang Jesus Loves Me before she went to sleep. It is the last book that is read/sang to her every night before she goes to sleep.

Nana never missed an opportunity to put HK in her favorite outfits or outfits that had been mine and take some pictures. I'll have to say that the outfit on the right was one of my favorites.






January was a pretty laid back month for us. Nate was finished interviewing for residency programs. He went to three that he really liked and didn't want to add to the confusion. His top two picks were Evansville, IN and Indianapolis, IN. The picture on the right is Nate hanging out with his two baby girls. He's definitely outnumbered, 3 females to 1 male! Daddy definitely knows how to make HK giggle!




We made it back down to So IL towards the end of January. It was our turn to stay with the Oldhams. We alternate where we stay each time we go visit. Grammy and Grandpa are enjoying some HK time on a lazy Saturday morning!
We came home this weekend for Genevieve's first birthday. There was a party for her Saturday night and Aunt Chloe Ann and Uncle Tom's house. Emily, Moises, and Genevieve live in Nashville, TN but came home to celebrate.
